Job Summary:

mPower is currently seeking Prin. Reports Developers. The Prin. Reports Developer builds and codes reporting modules using SAS, MicroStrategy, or Cognos. Works with architects to provide ESD initiation and senior-level reporting design deliverables. Develops and implements complex reporting mechanisms

Job Responsibilities:

• Plans, develops, tests, and documents reporting modules.
• Generates new code and corrects, converts, and/or modifies existing code to meet specifications.
• Prepares detailed specifications from which code will be written.
• Writes and updates technical documentation such as users’ manuals, product specifications, and training materials, as necessary.
• Performs unit of testing of reporting modules, analyzes test results, and corrects problems.
• Mentors junior level developers.
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies, as assigned.
• Participates in special projects as required.

Education Required:

• 8 to 10 years professional experience.

Experience:

• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the BI reporting field.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Experience in JDeveloper, SAS, MicroStrategy, Cognos, or other BI Tools.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Strong customer and business focus.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities.
• Possesses the ability to mentor junior team members.
• Positive can-do attitude.
• Excellent teamwork and organizational skills.
